Creeping in through cracks...well try this useful tip...sprinkle paprika around the cracks and it will drive those suckers away! *Smell Onions on hands ~ After you chop onions, getting rid of that yucky smell can take forever! Try this trick...rub hands with a peeled potato. It will absorb the odor! Now if we can just stop the "Onion tears"...... *Foggy Windshield ~ Hate foggy windshields? Buy a chalkboard eraser and keep it in the glove box *Left over Baby Food ~ Don't toss the baby food away! Use baby food vegetables for "baby sauce" and pour over pasta, bits of meat or rice dishes. You can mix extra veggiebaby food into homemade baby pancakes. For left over baby fruit foods, use as dipping sauces for your baby's finger foods and you can also mix it in with yogurts or cottage cheese for baby's snacks! *Sooth Teething ~ Roll up a small baby wet wash cloth and freeze it. Once the aches starts, you can give your little munchkin the frozen cloth for them to gnaw on. The cold will numb the pain and once the cloth starts to dry, it will be nice cold water that they're taken in. No need to worry about little teeth puncturing those teething rings. *Calm a Cough ~ Try this trick...rub bottom of feet with Vicks Vapour Rub and put on a pair of socks. Cough stops instantly! *Got Pesky Fruit Flies? ~ Those little suckers pop up all the time uninvited and love to hang out in the kitchen thanks to the compost bin. Try this great tip...half a cup of Apple Cider Vinegar and 2 drops of liquid dish detergent. They'll be off to "fruitier pastures" in no time! *Pick up Broken Glass ~ This tip came in handy the other night! Once all the big chunks are gone, use a dry cotton ball and sweep the area. Any little tiny pieces of glass will get caught in the fibers! |
